Annual variation of the percentage of endometriosis (ENDO), endometriosis-associated ovarian cancer (EAOC) and ovarian cancer (OC) cases between 1997 and 2006. Using simple linear regression analysis, there was no annual significant increase of cases of endometriosis (ENDO: asterisk) and endometriosis-associated ovarian cancer (EAOC: white square), r² = 0.046, P = 0.550 and r² = 0.263, P = 0.123; respectively. However, the percentage of cases of ovarian cancer (OC: black triangle) was increased between 1997 and 2006, r² = 0.557, P = 0.013.
